Business Consultant

To support our global growth, we are looking for a Business Consultant with the following responsibilities:

  • Analyse client requirements and define solutions to meet them (workshops, specifications…)
  • Monitor the R&D work around delivering the client solution
  • Accompany the client along the implementation of the solution
  • Supervise the change-management process (data convergence, training…)

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing banking software projects (loans, leases…), in terms of business issues and integration approach. Fluent English language skill required (must be able to communicate within an internal project team). German, Spanish, or French language proficiency is a plus. Need to be prepared to work away from home (Western and Eastern Europe).

Senior J2EE Systems Architect, located in Paris.    Cassiopae is a global provider of enterprise asset finance software with 90+ employees, offshore development centers in Tunisia and India, and offices in France, the U.S. and Japan.

The candidate should be a hands-on architect with extensive J2EE technology experience and a good mix of technologies such as Oracle PL/SQL, J2EE, Servlets, JDBC, JSF, Web Services, C++, etc.  The ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing architectural requirements to produce functional specifications as well as providing realistic and accurate development estimates.  The ideal candidate will have prior involvement in a number of projects using Java/J2EE/C++, LDAP/SSO/ HTTPS/certificates etc.  

Key Skills

  • 5+ years experience with JBoss/Tomcat/Apache/WebSphere, JSP, JDBC, JUNIT, Oracle PL/SQL environment
  • Good understanding of current development frameworks/approaches (JSF/Spring/Spring Web Flow/TopLink/Web Services)
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of Oracle databases
